My professional career started in 1978 in Hutný Projekt, one of the biggest companies in former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Later on, after the establishment of the independent Slovak Republic, the company engaged in engineering activities and design of industrial buildings. I worked in several positions starting from the designer of steel structures, leader of IT center up to advisor to the Technical Director. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in a friendly creative collective for major projects, among others, for companies such as Alumina plants Iran, SE - Nuclear power plant Jaslovské Bohunice and Slovnaft a.s. Bratislava.

In 2001, I started to build a private company „Ing. Daniel Bukov - OK TEAM“, which focused on structural engineering, concrete and steel structures, some very specific steel structures such as tunnel formwork and technology constructions. I developed with a team of collaborators many projects and static calculations of high-rise buildings, steel and special structures. The most important projects include high-rise building of the National Bank of Slovakia (33 storey building, analysis for the wind and seismic loads), high-rise building Millennium Tower II (22 storey building), Dominant (21 storey building) and Vienna Gate (23 storey building), static calculations of tunnel formwork, steel tanks for hazardous waste, the foundation for turbo generator with generator power 50 MW and 110 MW and the foundation for big compressors.

From 2013 I established the company Daniel Bukov OK TEAM, s.r.o. as a direct successor of previous activities.

In the quite short history of the new private company, we have developed projects of high-rise buildings, steel structures of industrial buildings and implemented many engineering calculations for special steel structures such as storage tanks and tunnel formwork.
